Backstage, TJP is playing WWE 2K17 with his leg up. He says he hurt his knee when he beat Swann two weeks ago. Perkins only went out to watch Rich beat Daivari – he didn’t know they’d play his music or that Swann would turn his attention away from his opponent. TJ says their friendly rivalry’s gone too far: he’s injured, and Rich is so distracted he lost a match he should have won. Swann says he’ll focus on beating Daivari, and he wants TJP to focus on getting better so they can have their rubber match.

Backstage, Dasha Fuentes talks with Rich Swann and asks him about TJP’s win and how he gloated after last week’s match. Swann says TJP isn’t the only one can do a victory dance. Suddenly, Daivari shows up and says he’s in the match and TJP is out. Swann wants to know what happened to TJP and Daivari said he should worry about the match, and less about his friend.

Ariya Daivari vs. Rich Swann

Daivari controlled things early on before Swann is able to get some momentum. Daivari attempts to head to the floor, Swann with a moonsault off the apron to the floor, landing on his feet. He jumps at Daivari, who tosses him up in the air and Swann lands head first on the apron. Action back in the ring with Daivari locking in a full nelson on Swann. Swann able to recover, multiple kicks, goes for a pin, two-count. Daivari gets a handful of hair, drops Swann, Daivari up to the top rope with a splash and completely misses. Swann with a nice spinning kick and heads up to the top rope. Suddenly, TJP’s music hits and completely distracts Swann, TJP is on crutches (along with a big knee brace on) and Daivari is able to take advantage to get the 1-2-3.

Winner: Ariya Daivari via Pinfall

TJP vs. Rich Swann

Swann controls the early part of the match, things pick as both wrestlers counter multiple moves. They each catch a kick and end up in the ropes for a break. Swann with a hard kick to TJP’s back as he tosses TJP at the ropes, TJP slips through, but gets tossed to the outside. Swann with a nice flip to the floor, taking down TJP. Action back in the ring, misdirection attempt by Swann, TJP able to lift up and drop Swann, belly-to-back suplex, pin, and two-count. TJP whips Swann chest-first into the corner. Submission by TJP, Swann able to get out, springboard by TJP to take down Swann, another pin, two-count.

Swann with dive, misses, TJP goes for a splash off the second rope, misses too. Crowd is basically silent for this one so far, with a few scattered “Boring” chants here and there. Swann with a nice leaping hurricanrana taking TJP from the top rope down to the mat. Swann with a double under-hook, TJP flips him over, Swann counters into a pin, two-count. TJP goes for knee lock, Swann gets out, kick, handspring splash, cover, two! Swann heads to the top and goes for a phoenix splash, but nobody home! TJP goes for a big move, countered, pin, two-count. Swann gets up on TJP’s shoulders, TJP drops Swann backwards on the top turnbuckle. Swann is dazed, detonation kick for the win!

Winner: TJP by Pinfall

– Post-match TJP celebrates, dabs, and then talks some trash to Swann. TJP follows Swann out of the ring as he continues to gloat, Swann doesn’t seem too happy by any of this. After going to commentary for a moment, they cut backstage as TJP asks Swann if he’s a poor loser, and Swann said it’s not about losing, it’s about how TJP acted in the ring and then trying to act like they’re friends. “I’m starting to know who you really are,” Swann says as he exits, and we’re out!

We see Rich Swann and Mustafa Ali playing video games and TJ Perkins enters. TJ comments on Swann working ‘so hard’ and Ali decides to leave. Swann wants to know what is going on with TJ. He says it seems like TJ is trying to be better than him. TJ says it is not trying, it just happens. TJ thought Rich would be happy with some friendly competition. Swann says that TJ is hung up on this since Swann beat him. Swann says it is eating TJ up inside. Swann says they can settle this in the ring next week. TJ says he is down, but first he suggests some friendly competition playing video games.

Tony Nese and TJ Perkins show up and he says that when Tony was named as his partner, he thought Swann would cancel the match. Tony says this is a participation medal.
Swann says this is some friendly competition.
Cedric says if Tony has issues with some friendly pre-match trash talk . . .

TJ’s music plays and it is time for the main event.

Match Number Two: TJ Perkins and Tony Nese versus Rich Swann and Cedric Alexander

Swann and Nese start things off for their teams. They locku p and Nese pushes Swann away and Nese poses. They lock up and Swann with a side head lock and sjpi;der tackle but Nese with a shoulder tackle to knock Swann down. Swann with a drop kick and he gets a near fall. Swann with an arm bar. Alexander tags in and Nese with a knee and wrist lock. Alexander with a leg sweep and he gets a near fall. Nese backs into the ropes. Alexander with a drop kick and European uppercut. Swann tags in and they hit a double hip toss and double drop kick to the back fo the head and Swann with a near fall.
Swann with a kick and Alexander tags back in. Cedric with a chop but Perkins tags in and Alexander with an arm drag into an arm bar. Perkins with a head scissors. Alexander gets a near fall and he flips over Perkins and applies a head scissors and drop kick. Nese is sent to the floor and then Swann and Alexander with dives onto Perkins and Nese. Alexander with an arm bar on Perkins. Alexander with a hammer lock and Perkins backs Alexander into the corner. Perkins with an elbow and punch. Alexander with an Irish whip and Perkins floats over and then hangs in the ropes and Alexander goes to the floor. Nese stops Alexander and Perkins with a running forearm.

Nese tags in and he kicks Alexander on the floor. Nese gets a near fall. Nese with a knee in the corner and he puts Cedric in the tree of woe and connects with knees and then he kicks Alexander while working on his abs. Nese goes for a suplex but Alexander with an inside cradle for a near fall. Nese with an elbow and he gets a near fall. Nese with kicks and he tags Perkins back in. Perkins with a rear chin lock and then he rakes his boot across the face. Perkins with a reverse chin lock.
Alexander with punches but Perkins with an elbow. Perkins with a springboard corkscrew forearm and he gets a near fall. Perkins with an arm bar to stop Cedric from making the tag. Perkins with a knee to the midsection and he tries for a suplex but Alexander lands on his feet. Cedric with a back elbow and he tries to make the tag. Nese and Swann tag in and Swann with flying clotheslines and a double stomp and splash for a near fall. Nese with an uppercut but Swann with a chop. Nese with a forearm and Swann with a clothesline. Nese with a matrix and kicks but Swann avoids a kick and Swann with a round kick.
Perkins and Alexander tag in and Alexander with a clothesline and elbow followed by a back elbow and he hits a standing C4 after Perkins moves on a handspring move. Nese breaks up the cover. Swann chops Nese and Nese trips Swann as he goes to the apron. Nese sends Swann into the announce table. Perkins with a double knee gutbuster and the referee stops his count. Nese and Swann are on the floor. Alexander avoids a Detonation Kick and Alexander with a handspring round kick for a near fall.
The referee checks on Perkins and Nese pushes Alexander off the turnbuckles and Perkins gets the three count.

Winners: TJ Perkins and Tony Nese

Backstage, Dasha Fuentes is with TJP. We see a recap of TJP and Rich Swann having back-to-back matches with some poor soul. TJP was able to win his match quicker than Swann. TJP says Swann can’t stand coming in second to him, first the CWC, and now that match. TJP says Rich is his friend and he does want to make it up to him, so next week, TJP is going to arrange some real competition. He’ll pick a partner, Swann will pick a partner, and they will have a tag match.

Match Number Two: Rich Swann versus Mario Connors

Before the match starts, TJ Perkins comes to ringside.
After the match, Perkins takes the mic and he asks Swann if he is happy with his performance. A win is a win, but he thought Swann would have done more since Swann beat him last week. Perkins says if it was him, he would have beaten this guy in half the time. TJ says that is it. TJ says that Connors’ night is not over. You gave Rich some good competition, but he gets a second chance. He gets to face the first Cruiserweight Champion one on one.

TJ asks for the time for Swann’s match to be put on the TitanTron and he says he will beat Connors in less time than Swann. Maybe he is tougher than he looks or Swann has to bring up his game.
Match Number Three: TJ Perkins versus Mario Connors in a 3:49 Challenge

Perkins with a kick to the leg and he goes for a knee bar but Connors with an inside cradle for a near fall. Perkins with a Detonation Kick for the three count.

Winner: TJ Perkins

Match Number Three: TJ Perkins versus Rich Swann

They lock up and Perkins with a waist lock and wrist lock. Swann with a reversal. Perkins with a snap mare but Swann holds on to the wrist lock. Perkins kips up and Swann holds on to the wrist lock and turns it into a hammer lock. Perkins rolls around but Swann holds on to the wrist lock. Perkins finally reverses and he takes Swann down with a head scissors. Swann gets a near fall but Perkins gets a near fall.
Perkins with a side head lock. Swann with a drop kick and Perkins rolls to the floor. Swann teases a dive to the floor but he sees Perkins move so he rebounds back into the ring and Swann mocks Perkins. Swann with a drop toe hold into an arm bar. Swann floats over in the corner and blocks a kick. He blocks another kick. Swann is sent over the top rope to the floor. Perkins goes to the floor for a second but he returns to the ring. Perkins with a snap mare and he gets a near fall. Perkins with an arm bar and he adds a chin lock. Perkins works on Swann’s fingers. Perkins with a back elbow.
Perkins with an Irish whip and Swann hits the turnbuckles sternum first. Swann pushes Perkins away and Perkins with a knee to the midsection followed by a slam and slingshot senton. Perkins gets a near fall. Perkins with a drop kick to the neck and he gets a near fall. Perkins with a Muta Lock. Swann crawls to the ropes and Perkins releases the hold. Swann with clotheslines and he runs Perkins into the corner. Swann with a jumping uppercut followed by a jumping rana and rolling thunder for a near fall. Swann with a twisting Michinoku Driver for a near fall.
Swann goes to the turnbuckles but Perkins stops him. Perkins with a cross body but Swann with a spinning back heel kick. Swann gets back to his feet first. Perkins goes Swann up but Swann escapes. Perkins with a lay out gutbuster for a near fall. Perkins goes for the knee bar but Swann escapes. Swann with a punch and back heel kick but Perkins with a jumping back heel kick. Both men with kicks to the head and both men go down.
Perkins with a European uppercut and he hits a second one. Perkins gets Swann up but Swann escapes and Swann with a cover but Perkins with a crucifix. Swann counters and gets the three count.

Winner: Rich Swann

After the match, Perkins and Swann shake hands and hug.

Rich Swann walks in the back and TJ Perkins is there. Perkins says he was thinking about what Swann said. Perkins says he does not appreciate him accusing him of cutting corners or saying he had a chip on his shoulder. He did not appreciate it happening before his match last week.

Swann says he was not trying to get in Perkins’ head.

Perkins says he knows why Swann did it last week. Tonight it is Swann in the main event and Perkins tells Swann to take care of business.

Swann says Perkins looked good against Neville and took him to the limit. That is the same champ who attacked him last night. They are both looking for opportunities.
Swann says it looked like the WWE Universe was buying into him again and so was he. Swann says he has dealt with diversity his whole life. You lose the title and call yourself TJP. TJ Perkins would go to the ring and take care of business the right way. Swann tells Perkins to get his head in the game.

Match Number Two: TJ Perkins versus Akira Tozawa

They lock up and Perkins with a waist lock but Tozawa with a wrist lock. Perkins backs Tozawa into the turnbuckles and Perkins with a clean break. Tozawa with a side head lock. Tozawa with an arm drag and he gets a near fall. Perkins with a near fall. They lock up and Perkins with a side head lock. Tozawa with a forearm but Perkins floats over in the corner. Tozawa with a kick followed by a back senton and he gets a near fall.

Titus watches from the back as we return to the ring. Perkins backs Tozawa into the corner and gives a clean break. Tozawa with a boot to Perkins and he comes off the turnbuckles but Perkins with a drop kick. Perkins with a slam and Perkisn goes to the apron for a slingshot senton and he gets a near fall. Perkins with a snap mare and he rakes his boot on the face. Perkins with an arm bar and he rubs his forearm against the side of the face. Perkins with a chin lock and a hammer lock using the leg. Tozawa with elbows but Perkisn with an elbow. Perkins with a springboard forearm.

Perkins gets a near fall. Perkins stomps on the arm and he hits a suplex and goes for a back drop driver and he gets a near fall. Perkins puts pressure on the knee and he kicks Tozawa in the head. Perkins with a double underhook as he adds more pressure to the hold. Perkins with a reverse chin lock when Tozawa escapes. Tozawa with elbows but Perkins goes for a belly-to-back suplex and Tozawa lands on his feet. Perkins with an elbow and Tozawa with a knee. Tozawa knocks Perkins off the apron and Tozawa with a suicide dive head butt.

Tozawa goes up top and Perkins moves. Tozawa with a flying boot to Perkins for a near fall. Tozawa pulls Perkins into the corner and he goes up top. Perkins crotches Tozawa and Perkins punches Tozawa. Perkins sets for a superplex but Tozawa with punches and he pushes Perkins off the turnbuckles. Perkins with a double chicken wing gutbuster for a near fall. Perkins with a forearm and Tozawa fires back. Tozawa with the advantage. Tozawa with a jab and Perkins is down. Perkins rolls through into the knee bar.
Tozawa tries to get to the ropes but Perkins tries to pull him into the center of the ring. Tozawa with a rollup for a near fall. Tozawa with a Saito suplex and he goes up top. Tozawa with the back senton for the three count.

Winner: Akira Tozawa
